What does Paul have to offer?

Talks:

Paul's talk "Music To Your Ears" has been delivered hundreds of times to audiences large and small and of all ages. Speaking about his experiences as a deaf musician, along with audience participation, signed song and music games and performance, Paul will inspire and encourage you, and perhaps make you cry too! No talk is ever exactly the same but will be made to fit your audience, budget and time.

Workshops and training:

From an 'Introduction to music' to Deaf Awareness to Signed Song, Paul will devise a session to meet your needs, working with beginners to professionals. As well as working on his own, Paul is keen to develop partnerships with schools, music services and professional music organisations, such as the "Feel the Music" project that has taken place internationally with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra since 2013.

He is particularly keen to deliver sessions that will raise both awareness and standards of signed song, including the development of signed song examinations. He is also available as a adjudicator for signed song at Music Festivals and competitions.

Performances:

Paul plays the piano and organ and for many years signed major musical shows across the UK. Performances not only show what a deaf musician is capable of, but also inspires others and encourages access.

Paul has worked for the BBC Proms, Edinburgh International Festival, Aldeburgh Festival; Rambert Dance Company, The Sixteen choir, and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales; most major production companies and venues across the UK.
